  1. It seems to me you have broken ankle;sever pain ,joint deform. If not broken must be sever sprain. You can not continue walk in this way,you need treatment.Ask your mon bring you to a locol ER and need x-ray to be done.Don't go to your family doctor.

  2. Ummm... definitely go to the doctor! You could have at least visited the school nurse. You're mom needs to make sure you get the care you need because if it broken and you show up at school with a broken bone and a mom who refused to take you to the doctor, she could be called a neglectful parent. She could even go to jail if someone was serious about getting her into trouble for neglecting you. Of course, all this assumes that you're not just a drama queen. If you are honestly in serious pain, you need medical attention. If you're not in terrible pain, you need to toughen up.

    Good luck! Walk carefully :-)

  3. if your ankle is swollen then yes!!! have her take you to the doctor. If you cant see your ankle bone, that means it swollen. It could be a sprain. but i dont think its broken. either way go to the doctor

  4. Tomorrow during school, go to the nurse and have her take a look at it. It may be nothing, like you mom said, but he on the safe side.

  5. Why don't you go along to your friendly qualified medical practitioner.  Make sure it is medical doctor.  They will decide (with you) if it needs to be X-rayed.

You are old enough to take charge of this and talk to your mother and/or father if you choose.  Have confidence in your choice.

  6. it can be a really bad sprain but is probably broken! go to the doctor for x-rays!!!!!!!!

  7. call family services on your mom

  8. If you can walk on it even if you are in pain and limping it is not broken. Suggest you put an ice pack on ice and take some tylenol for the pain. It could be worse tomorrow so don't be frightened if it is more swollen or it could be fine. Just elevate it that is put it up on a stool or

something and try not to walk around on it too much. You have wrenched or twisted it that is all.

  9. i would definatly go to the doctor... when i was a senior in high school i rolled my ankle very badly and as it rolled i as well as everyone in the gym(i did it at cheerleading practice) heard three loud pops... my ankle swelled immediatly as well as bruised so i sat out the rest of practice, my coach wanted me to see the school athletic trainer but i insisted that it was just a sprain and that i would be "fine" (what a mistake) i did this because i also had practice for the all star team that i was on and we had nationals that weekend(even though i knew that i had done something more serious, i wasnt missing nationals)

any way i never went to the doctor and had my ankle looked at and instead jsut taped and braced my ankle for the competiton and practice for the next couple of weeks and eventualy everything was "fine".... except that now my ankle will give out on me at random moments

wish i would have had it looked at back then...

  10. it is prolly sprained or fractured

  11. If it was broken you couldn't walk on it.  You probably sprained it.  It wouldn't be a bad idea to wrap it with a bandage and keep your weight off of it, but your mom is right it will get better.  Some ice couldn't hurt either.  Hope you feel better.

  12. It sounds like you've sprained or dislocated your ankle. If the bone has in fact moved this could be quite serious as you may have torn a ligament or tendon. Expect it to bruise. You really should see a doctor, especially if it's hurting you. It will not just go away.

  13. See a doctor immediately, but I would say you have a strained/torn muscle, or the bone could be cracked at worst. As previously stated, if it was broken then you wouldn't be able to walk on it. Usually pain clouds judgement and damage is amplified psychologically. If it were me, I would schedule an appointment for a day or two so you can sleep on it and then think about how much it really hurts. Best of luck.
