  1. Well this could be the result of a few things:

The 1st possibililty that comes to mind is that he could have parasites. I thought of this 1st because you stated that his stool smelled very badly and is really runny. If this is the case the vet will give you drops to give him & you will have to supply a stool sample for a few weeks after he's better.

But there is also a posibility& that is more likely.. that he is just in a type of hybernation. Some reptiles, including Bearded dragons are known to hybernate when shedding. It usually last no more time than it takes him to finish shedding. Make sure he is getting plenty of time in the UVB lights. & monitor the temperature in the room around his cage where he stays, they are naturally aulstralian desert reptiles. Heat is what they crave, just not burning heat. Cooler temps. can make them hybranate also.

Make sure you are NOT feeding him iceburg lettuce, it has no nutrients what so ever & will cause diareahea & in some cases dehydration. It will only make the smelly, runny stool worse.

I would simply keep an eye on him for a few more days, let him finish shedding, make sure he continues having bowel movements with no problems (parasites can also cause severe constipation). and if he is still causing you worry or showing more signs of illness after a few days, take him to the vet. But make sure you have an exotic animal vet. Regular vets usually won't touch them. (in my past experience anyway).

sorry I became long winded, hope this helped....

  2. it might just be that hes shedding mine doesnt do anything when hes shedding. soak him in a warm but not hot bath. fill the tub up to his elbows or do it in the sink.

  3. hi, it could be the shedding, i have a female and shes no different when she sheds she still eats and is lively but i have a male who gets really down when hes shedding he go days without eating and just sleeps all the time, whenever they are shedding i bath them a coupleof times a week in warm water, just up to elbows and i just splash it over them lightly, (not in their ears tho) and it softens the skin and helps the shedding process, your dragon is very small and i under stand you worry just try a bath first and if he desnt improve then i would get him checked out they fragile when theyso small and the liquidy faeces doesnt sound altogether great good luck and i hope everything goes okay xx

  4. It might be he is having trouble shedding, get a Q-tip and wet it and dab his/her skin and it should come off more easily, if the shed is off and he still acts like that I would take him/her to a vet.
