Is there something wrong with my cat!?!?

Hi

I need to know if there is something wrong with my cat!

Hes a 4 year old boy cat and he has been throwing up,it looks like his hard food.We didnt change his food or anything like that! He's also sleeping like 24 hours a day! I havent seen him awake today!He gets up turns around then sleeps some more! Is this normal or is something wrong?

I agree, grass does settle the stomach. I don't think you have anything to worry about, my cat sleeps ALL the time. Sometimes if the food is to stale they will throw up. I think hes fine. good luck =)

hes probaly just eating 2 much 2 quick

and 4 de sleeping 24hrs part he has probaly been staying out all night.

i would'nt say u have any thing 2 worrie about

but just in case take him 2 a vet

there is something wrong and you need to get him to a vet as soon as you can. Do not try to get a diagnosis on the internet, go to your vet to keep your pet healthy.

A 4 year old cat should not suddenly be sleeping all day and puking - he needs to visit the vet.  He may have a blockage, be diabetic, or have thyroid problems.  Don't panic - all of these are treatable IF caught in time - good luck!

Please Vanessa, take your cat to the vet ASAP.

His hard food diet might be too much for him, he may need more of a balanced diet which involves giving him wet food.

My first dear cat was often sick after eating and the vets found he had an over-active thyroid. Meds helped him and he lived to be pensioner in cat years.

He is probably eating too much. My cat is an obese black cat  and he eats when he is bored and throws up often and just serve him a cup depending on his age. if he doesn't feel better take him to a vet.

if he is throwing up often then yes take him to the vet asap. he might have a kitty flu, or worse.

He might need to eat grass it settles a cats stomach but too much and puke has a lot of grass. Also take him/her to the closest cattery cat clinic or vet.
