Is there something wrong with my mouth?

Sometimes randomly my glands will feel a sudden tingle (what it feels like) and i will suddenly get alot of spit in my mouth, and it happens for a few seconds then goes away. and it tastes almost a little salty to. is there somethin up with my glands or what?

okay, this is weird, but i get that same sensation when i'm about to eat a pickle. i think the tingle is due to sudden salivation.

I get that when I think of spicy or salty foods.
