Is there something wrong with my neice?!

My neice is coming into town who's 12 and I haven't seen her since she was 3. I wanted to buy her some clothes for presents and my sister said she is a size 6 kids!!!!! my 5 year old is a 6 kids!!!! and her shoe is a size 1!!!!!!!!!! I asked her what store she is a size 6 in and she said the same stores I shop at. I asked her how tall she was and she said 4 foot 2 and she is 56 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for a 12 year old. is she sick or something????

Who knows my sister is very small she is 20 and only weighs 96 pounds she is still in little kid clothes

I think she is a bit underdeveloped, but you'd have to be a pediatrician to know for sure.  

If you see her in person and feel she is being neglected or something, be sure to speak up about it!

She sounds small.  Just wait until you see her and take her shopping.  Ask your sister, discretely, if she has had her checked.  I'm sure the pediatrician has already mentioned it.  I'm surprised your sister hadn't mentioned this to you before.
