Two weeks ago, my sleeping habits started to change.

I went to bed and couldn't sleep untill 5:00 in the morning one day.

The second day the same thing happned.

But the next day i slept at 1 till 9. (My normal sleeping habit)

Then the next day i went back to not being abel to sleep untill early in the morning. And then sometimes i can sleep just fine.

Sometimes i only get 4 hours of sleep and i feel fine the next day. I'm not tired or drowsy. Is this normal?

  1. this is not normall your brain needs to rest your heart needs to come down to a slower pace.

to sleep get a good nights sleep and a good recharge for your brain and health wise u need at least 8 hours sleep and maximum 10!

fight your way through the night do not sleep atall then u will just pass out at about nine o'clock and wake up bout seven or eight ready to do anything you do all healthy and recharged.

i used to have **** sleeping patterns due to really bad anxiety but i fought it through one night and i got straight back into my pattern the next also i reccomend doing some form of excersize to tire yourself out x

  2. maybe its your diet do you eat sweets late at night ? or maybe you have too much caffeine or maybe its psychological?

  3. Insomnia is not a diagnosis it's a symptom. That being said is it 'normal' to only sleep for a few hours, no. But occassionaly people have a hard time falling asleep. If this happens only randomly for you adn it is not interfering with your daytime activities/mood etc then no big deal. If it continues to happen often, assess your daily routine and try to notice a pattern of what could be causing your insomnia on those nights. Common causes are:

    caffeine/sugar too late at night

stress - or something on your mind, feels like you are awake worrying or thinking about things so you cant sleep

medications - some can effect sleep cycles

not enough activity - if you notice on the days you are sitting and not doing much you have a hard time sleeping try to workout or be active more regularly so your body is ready to relax at bed time.

    anxiety or other mental issues.

Those are just a few causes of insomnia. If it persists and you cant figure out why, talk to your doctor. Try to avoid sleeping pills as though can become addictive and make you drowsy etc.
