Is there something youre suppose to put on before eyeliner?

when i put on eyeliner, it smears when i blink . how do i stop that ? am i suppose to put something on before ?

i had the same problem... my eyeliner used to smudge all the time... it runs off when i blinked and my lower lid looks like i was being hit...

i changed my normal pencil eyeliner to automatic eyeliner (the retractable one) and it works.... no more smudges.... i use revlon colorstay eyeliner (not the liquid).. or you can always try almay retractable one or maybelline define-a-line.. those are promising one..

and if it still smudges,, use eyeshadow with the same color on top of the eyeliner... it works for me.. i never use something as my base...

i use a base before eyeliner, but part of it is the liner.

Try putting some foundation on before you put on your eyeliner.

Let the foundation set, it should help keep the eyeliner in place.

I personally don't put anything on before i put on my eyeliner..

You might want to try a different brand.

CoverGirl makes smudge-proof eyeliner..

there are other brands out there make smudge-proof, too.

The only other thing is, you MIGHT be putting too much on.

try to put a little less on..see if that helps!
