    The Official opening takes place this weekend of a restored blacksmiths forge in Claregalway. The Old Forge is a project of the Claregalway Historical and Cultural Society and is a culmination of 15 months of hard work and fundraising.

    All are welcome to the Official Opening which will take place at :

    12 noon on Saturday, 22nd December 2007.



    The Forge is located near the junction of the N17 (Galway-Sligo) and N-59 (Roscommon) Roads.

    You will also visit a labourer's cottage, a carpenter's workshop, a harness maker and a blacksmith's forge.
