Do you believe Jews are part of a particular ethnicity or solely a religion? Does a "Jewish ethnicity" still exist at all? It did at one point a long time ago with the original Hebrews in the land of Israel, but does it still exist today at all? Even though they have lived and do live in many different countries around the world a lot of people seem to refer to Jews as something more than just belonging to the Jewish faith, a lot of people seem to think being Jewish is also an ethnicity and that there is a certain typical Jewish look. Do you believe this to be true or not and why?

  1. I do think many of them have a "typical look", and I suppose i do consider it to be an ethnicity.  Maybe in the same way that Hindu is a religion and an ethnicity.  I don't have a problem with any of it, as long as their actions are not offensive to others.

  2. Yes, it's called a semitic "look"...

However, ethnic Jews are very adaptable, and especially within the past 500 years, Jewish communities mixed with many Eastern European cultures, and now many Jews have a mixed Semitic/European "look"!

  3. yes its denied because of european genetic influence, but there is still a definate levantine look

bug eyes, recessed chin, the nose obviously, and other typically jewish characteristics that have sustained.

  4. Ever been to Israel?  No one looks the same

  5. google the book"when the jews became white"its will answer all yours questions.it will also tell you about what race will become "white" next...

  6. Yes I do; for this reason. Intermarrying between Jews and non Jews is ,for the greater part, a modern day phenomenon . Mainly as a result of persecution, for 1900 years the Jews where kept separate as a distinct people.
