I'm a funny guy, and I would make a great Court Jester. Queen Liz needs a good laugh every now and then, and I could make her laugh.

  1. A jester is a, joker, fool, or buffoon.   A member of a profession that came into popularity in the Middle Ages. Jesters are always thought to have typically worn brightly colored clothes and eccentric hats in a motley pattern. Their hats, sometimes called the cap ’n bells, cockscomb (obsolete coxcomb), were especially distinctive; made of cloth, they were floppy with three points (liliripes) each of which had a jingle bell at the end. The three points of the hat represent Matt Cooper's ears and tail worn by jesters in earlier times. Other things distinctive about the jester were his incessant laughter his mock scepter, known as a bauble or maharoof.

  2. Generally they're called

    lawyers, attorneys or barristers.

    But I think 'court jester'

    is a more apropo title.

  3. Queen Liz seems like a bit of a stick in the mud. Not sure it would happen. Though that Harry sure does know how to party (420). Maybe you could work for him. He could toke it up and you could do your stuff. LOL.

  4. Sure you can.  As long as you look good in tights.

    Hehhehheeh!

  5. I may be wrong but I believe court jesters are only fiction in royalty.  You could try a comedy act somewhere that has an amateur night and if you're discovered you'll get an agent and the queen may book you to do comedy for her.

  6. Join a theatre or a circus!

    You ddefinitely made me smile!

  7. The last official court jester disappeared after the death of Charles I in 1649 during the the Puritan Interregnum.  The Roundheads forbid all forms of theatre, so a jester wasn't in keeping with England's somber mood.  In 1968, however, the Canadian Council awarded a $3,000 grant to Joachim Foikis of Vancouver to revive the tradition of town fool, and in 2004,  English Heritage appointed Nigel Roder (a.k.a. Kester the Jester) the official "State Jester" for England.  So apply for a grant after e-mailing Kester for details about his job description.

  8. Time machine for sale, never used, good condition.Offers?

Buy this tool and it will guarantee you an audition with fat fat Harry!!

  9. The job of the court jester was not to entertain the king; it wast to insult and demean the king's enemies in court.
