I just read in EW that Scott Weiland is back in rehab....AGAIN!  So I wouldn't expect anything out of Velvet Revolver or STP for awhile.

Rumor has it since STP is doing a reunion tour...the boys from VR are doing other projects during the hiatus.  Duff has put LOADED back together and plans a tour. And Slash has stated that since GNR doesn't have a guitar player he may be interested in talking with Axl.  In my opinion...GNR should not be resurrected, and VR should get back together and make more relevant music!!

Yes, Velvet Revolver are still together and are planning to write a new album in April, Scott will be playing a few summer shows with STP that is all though.

Slash is NOT rejoining GN'R.

Scott Weiland came out of rehab a couple of days ago after completing a month stint and is said to be doing "very well"
