  1. No of course not, think of it this way if you miss him he is going to be missing you the same, and having the same feelings.

  2. I got about 3-5 letters per day when i went through. He'll just do a lot of push ups but he wont mind

  3. Write away =) Letters is like gold to them in boot camp. My boyfriend just started Basic, I haven't gotten his address yet, but I have already written a ton to send him. So I totally feel ya!

  4. No, actually, there is no such thing as too many letters while he's in boot camp.

    Write away!

  5. Nope, not a problem.  Write to your hearts content.

  6. I think you should limit yourself to a letter every second day, don't want whoever "him" is to think you are clingy.

  7. Well that would depend on him..If he is bothered by that then it will bug him..

My personal opinion, yes a letter a day is overdoing it..But some people I guess need to be dealt with that way..

  8. I write my boyfriend everyday. He's at USMC Boot Camp over in San Diego right now. It helps me cope with him not being here, avoid anxiety and all.  Plus, it gives him encouragement. Or at least I hope it does, lol.  I remind him that I love him, that he's a strong person and I have no doubt in my mind that he's going to do great, and that time will fly by and it'll be November 5th before he knows it, and his family and I will be sitting in the stands, cheering for him as he graduates.  Just keep writing him, but don't expect him to reply to every single one.  Keep in mind that he's crazy busy right now, but he'll write you when he can.  Good luck with your recruit, he'll come back a better version of what he already was.  Also, remember that you're going to have really bad days, and probably a lot of them.  What's been helping me is a website called marineparents.com  even if you aren't a parent. They have everything you can think of, forums *also a separate one for wives, fiancees and girlfriends* , the training matrix, etc.

  9. When I was in OSUT @ Benning if you got more than 2 pieces of mail on any given day you were doing 25 pushups per piece.

  10. Absolutely not, write as much as you like.  He will look forward to contact from the 'outside' world.  Believe me it can get very lonely in boot camp

  11. The more letters the better. As to the person who said you don't want to appear to "clingy". I doubt that while he's at boot camp, he's going to be concerned with that. He'll appreciate every contact with the outside world.

  12. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  13. the more letters the better, there is nothing like looking forward to getting a letter from a loved one

  14. The more letters the better!!
