Is there such a thing as a digital TV antenna?

I just bought a new TV that can receive digital channels...but I'm a little behind. I'm picking up digital channels, but the signals are very weak on some of them (like Fox). I currently have an analog antenna hooked up so I can view local channels that are not digital...but I was wondering if they made an antenna I could buy specifically to boost the digital channel signal I receive? Where can I buy such a mystical object? Best Buy?

  1. A analogue antenna receives digital stations just as good as any . there is no such beast as a Digital Antenna.

Of course it must be pointed towards the Digital Tv stations and be in good condition !!

    Cheers Pete

  2. You can use a normal analog antenna. The demands are similar for SD and HDTV/digital but depending on your location relative to the station you may need a more sensitive design. The link is to a site with info and reviews which may be of help.

  3. you can't have an antenna that is digital.  you can receive analog signals with your antenna but use a box or program that converts it digital signal.
