Hospital social workers mainly deal with discharge planning, which means arraigning for services for the family once the child is ready to go home.  If you are looking to work more directly with the children, try school social work or studying play therapy.

yeah you would have to get a job in a kids hospital and it would be all kids not just babies.

YOur job would be to connect them to services. So if a family has a kid with cancer you will hook them up with counseling, maybe medicaid, etc
