  1. Meat is much dangerous to be eaten raw (even half cooked). Veganism also much concerning the health therefore very much contradicts your opinion. All Raw Vegans are Raw Foodist, but NOT all Raw Foodist are necessarily Raw Vegans. There are divergences in Raw Vegans & Raw Foodist.

    RAW FOODISM

    From Wikipedia

    --------------------------------------...

Raw food diets may include eggs, fish, meat, and unpasteurized dairy products.

    RAW VEGAN

    From Wikipedia

    --------------------------------------...

Raw veganism is a diet which combines veganism and raw foodism. It EXCLUDES all food of animal origin, and all food cooked above 46 degrees Celsius (115 degrees Fahrenheit). A raw vegan diet includes raw vegetables and fruits, nuts and nut pastes, grain and legume sprouts, seeds, plant oils, sea vegetables, herbs, and fresh juices. There are many different versions of the diet, including fruitarianism, sproutarianism, etc. Although some advocate a diet of only fruit, or only vegetables, generally it is agreed that a well balanced raw vegan diet, containing moderate amounts of all of the above foods, is the best for good health.[citation needed] Sometimes the definition of a raw vegan diet is loosened to include vegan diets with at least 75% raw foods.

  2. I try to eat as much raw food as possible, but I am by no means vegan or raw food purist.

I eat lots of RAW milk, eggs, seafood, fruits and veggies.  Steak tartare and tuna tartare are a couple of my favorites.

I eat more cooked food in the winter, when it's good to get some heat from your food.  Also, things like slightly cooked carrots and spinach are actually better for you because you can better   digest them and their nutrients.  Just don't cook them into a mush!

EDIT:  Not all germs are bad for you!  You need some good bacteria to maintain a healthy immune system.  Keep eating RAW!

  3. it isnt a good idea because ppl tend to have a difficult time digesting meat unless its cooked.

  4. I think people who eat raw food all the time are all vegans.

  5. No my dear donkey.

  6. There are some raw foodists who aren't vegan, but most raw foodists are.

  7. Yes there is. Also some cultures make some raw meat dishes. Celtic Tejas is right, I'd be very careful. It requires alot more hygiene in the kitchen and can cause food poisoning and/or illness. If your going to go raw, I think raw veg or vegan is the way to go.

  8. There are raw foodists who are not vegan or vegetarian.  I saw it on trading spouses once.  The Mother had to move in with a family who only eats raw food.  Their diet included raw meat.

Google Paleo.  You should find a lot of information.

  9. YES In fact the 1st RAW Food Book I was given is by Carol Alt she does RAW & is not Vegan.

She eats Fish, Beef & raw Cheeses as well as veggies. If this is your path you have to be very careful of your food source. It's my opinion that animals flesh is more easily tainted than veggies.

  10. there are still people that eat raw meat...so I guess in rare cases

  11. Most raw foodist are vegan, but there are some that are not.

  12. There are some raw foodist who aren't vegetarian. But people who latch onto one food ideology are very likely to latch on to more than one. So most raw foodists are indeed vegetarians of one stripe or another.

later: My wife is by no means a raw foodist, but she loves to nibble on raw hamburger. I became a modest fan of steak tartare (with a little olive oil and vinegar) on a trip to Italy a long time ago, but I am not an enthusiast.

  13. raw foodists are strict vegetarians but they may be vegans too if they do not use animal products like leather and silk
