Where do I get the speedy pass at and how much is it.?

Disney's fastpass system is free. On certain popular rides in both DL and DCA, the fastpass ticket is available. It allows a guest to return to the ride during a designated time interval (1 hour period) where they are enter the ride area through a special queue.

Near a ride with the fastpass system are a number of ticket machines. When you put your ticket stub for that day into the machine, you will be issued a fastpass. A marquee at the entrance to the fastpass area will tell you what the designated time your pass will be good for, as well will your pass from the machine.

The fastpass system allocates a number of reserved "spots" on a ride for a determined period of time. Certain popular rides will go through their allocation of passes quickly, so a ride you may want to go on (say Space Mountain) may have all the passes issued by noon, while other rides will still have passes available.

While you technically have a 1 hour window to use the fastpass, there is some leeway.  You also will not be able to receive another fastpass for another ride until your current fastpass has expired, or 2 hours whichever comes first.

Yes. This "speedy" pass is known as a fast pass, btw.

Anyway, these fast passes are available from small machines next to the ride that you want one from. You need to have the ticket that you used to get in to grab one.

The fast pass is used to go into the chosen ride through the short line, but requires you to wait a few hours after getting the pass.
