  1. Do you mean like a sub that nobody can detect?

    Real quite, no wake?

    Yes.

I have served as a crewman onboard 3 of them.

  2. Yes, they have recently created a sub with a shape and coating like that of a stealth aircraft that can avoid detection completely. It's the newest in sub technology and they have also created some above water vessels similar.

  3. Submarines are considered the original stealth weapon system because from their beginning (before World War I), they have always been extremely difficult to detect. Modern nuclear powered submarines are nearly impossible to detect under combat conditions with passive or active sonar. Because they never have to surface from the ocean depths, they are invulnerable to all surface search radars as well.

    Hope I helped ~ Jeff

  5. Most submarines are "stealth", in that they're difficult to detect.

Submarines have been using anechoic coatings to absorb sonar longer than there have been stealth airplanes.

  6. there are some articles concerning the UK and the US building stealth submarines.  The Chinese are rumored to have a few allready.  There was an incident with a us ship a few months ago where they apparently snuck up on the uss Kitty Hawk.

but seeing as most governments are pretty secretive about their sub technology there's little concrete information
