cause for the summer im going to an island and i want to do something like search for treasure scuba diving and looking for fossils that stuff like archeaology

  1. It would cost you about $2000 to rent for a week.  If you just brought along high frequency antennas you could take it on an airplane no problem.  I have used them some in mining to find voids where gem crystals would be located. It takes a while to learn how to use them efficiently.

    Although I don't think this is what you want.  There are professionals who search for sunken treasure.  They do use specialized tools and equipment.

    In general they are very expensive, you can rent them but (no-offence) I doubt you have the dough.

    They are also fairly bulky machines so you couldn't take one on a plane, or any real distance unless you like travelling light in big cars.
