  1. yes there is. there has been some inventions made in the Philippines, however, it has been blocked by huge oil companies and didn't receive and support from the government.

  2. I know they are being worked on as it separates the hydrogen from water and burns that and then exhaust is oxygen which is good pollution wise and also as O2 will help seal the hole in ozone layer.

Problem is H2 is VERY VERY VERY VERY unstable so you don't want to seperate until you are gonna burn it.  They are still working on it being safe enough for everday use by people.

I for one think they will be awesome when all bugs and issues resolved

  3. No, there is basically no energy in water.  However, this isn't counting using electricity generated by a hydroelectric plant - in that case it is not really generated by water but by gravity in a roundabout way.

  4. No, there is no such thing as a water powered car.  If any one thinks otherwise, I challenge them to provide evidence of its existence.

  5. Sorry. That would be a perpetual motion machine. You could fill the tank, have a battery convert the water to hydrogen then have the battery create a spark, burn the hydrogen to turn the wheels and keep the battery charged and have the hydrogen convert back to water and start all over again. The perfect perpetual motion machine which is scientifically impossible. This is similar to the water powered welder. The water powered welder is not powered by water although it uses water as a source of hydrogen through electrolysis. The electrolysis is powered by an external power supply. Would be nice if it was true but sadly the only watered powered machines are things like dams.
