Is there such a thing as an odor controlled garbage can/trash can?

I was wondering, sonce regular containers/cans even with lids, still smell pretty bad, I was wondering if they make anything that keeps the odor inside?

None of them are hermetically sealed so some odour will escape. Some of them have an anti-bacterial (microban) treatment to keep bacterial growth down but it wears away. Cleaning and disinfecting a receptacle is your best bet. You can use a dryer sheet in the bottom and that gives a fresher smell. There may be things on this site you'll want to consider.

I would be very careful sealing garbage bags. etc. in this heat. it's the foul odours given off by the bacteria that cause those nasty smells.
