  1. Yes, there is.  People who are numbers dyslexic have a hard time remembering the position of digits (931 versus 913), and often have a hard time remembering the number of digits (was that 10K or 100K?).

Being dyslexic with letters doesn't necessarily go along with that.

  2. Yes.  It is called dyscalulia.  It is when numbers just do not make sense to a person.  They may transpose numbers (ie: 123 becomes 321) or the numbers may just look like lines and waves with no meaning.  It can be very frustrating.

  5. Yes

  6. YES, there definitely is.  I help with special needs children at school, some students are dyslexic, number dyslexic and some suffer from dysgraphia as well (which means they find it very hard to write)

  7. Yup, I got it. I've also got a degree in Chemistry and I'm not dyslexic. My handwriting is horrid. I can't type.

I don't know of anything you can do about it. Knowing you have it is most of the battle anyway. If you are in school make sure your teachers know you have a problem, avoid the lazy fools who pretend it isn't real. If you are in the real world make sure your co-workers know, they tend to be nicer than teachers.
