is there such a thing as critical illness insurance stand-alone version?

I mean without life insurance element included. So when u get critically ill then u r paid a given compensation amount and can do with that money what u want

  1. Yes, there is.  A number of companies now sell this product including, among others, Scottish Widows.  If you're in the UK you could look at the FSA website and they give you a steer on price comparison.


  2. Yes - I have paid into one for years and it pays out £500,000 on diagnosis of a terminal illness, plus various other benefits, it doesn't have a life insurance policy but I do get the payments back if I cancelled the policy.

  3. Yes, my company United America has critical illness stand alone policies or critical illness plus cancer policies.

  4. Yes, we sell alot of critical illness policies.  They're very popular in Europe and growing in popularity here.
