Question:

Is there such a thing as dress flats?

The guy I really want to go to Homecoming with is shorter than me, so I don't want to make my self look even taller with heels. So I was just wondering: is there such a thing as 'dress flats' or fancy dressed up flats (shoes obviously)? And if so, can you wear them with shorter dresses?

Thanks much,

Madeline ♥

  1. OF COURSEEE.

  2. Yes, they're just really nice flats. But don't buy shoes until you're definitely going with him. Also, many times at homecoming dances, everyone takes their shoes off anyway. In my school we don't go with guys, but we're not allowed to wear heels to ours because our gym floor is really nice and the principal doesn't want ours screwed up.

  3. I think many flats are suitable for dresses.  And yes, there are such things as dressy flats.  Just try getting a pair that are conservative, coordinated (to your dress) and professional.

Here are some links to some cute flats, that can be suited for dresses.

  7. Yeah. Try a little bit of a pointed toe if you can. Those always dress an outfit up.
