not "steroids"  in that sense.  but yes there are.  visit your local gnc.  also you can make them at home.

they are legal if a doctor gives them to you for 'health treatment'

they are illegal if you get them from dealers etc and use them against your doctors will to build muscle etc

Well its not as strong as steroids, but it has the same effects. "Creatine", gives you more power output, endurance, and better recovery time. I HIGHLY recommend it, i use it myself.

They're legal if a doctor gives them to you for medication.  It's illegal to take them if you are not getting them from a doctor and you're taking them to get bigger muscles/arms, ext.
