  1. Yes and I will explain it.

If your heart is broken from a relationship it can lead to various ailments.  Some people may be sad for a few days, others may get into a deep depression and stop doing things that are needed to live their life, like not eating, withdrawing completly, etc.

My aunt died from a broken heart when her boyfriend of 20 years left her for a woman who wanted to marry him.  He got tired of asking my aunt for her hand in marriage and once their child they had together turned 18, he left.  She stopped eating, lost a lot of weight and had to be made to eat.  She had a poor diet while led to other issues like liver problems and thyroid issues from poor diet and not even trying to do things for herself.  Her poor daughter had to be her care taker.  Eventually my aunt passed away.  I cant remember what exactly killed her but it all started with her heart being broken.

  4. Yes, you can die of a broken heart.

  5. Physiologically I do not know - but I do know that you can die of a fright - chemicals damage your heart and it stops.  So, I suspect you could die of a broken heart.  Your GD is in my prayers.

  6. you cant die directly because of broken heart. but it can trigger pre-existing medical conditions. and this could lead to death.

  8. you probably can

like if someone breaks up with you and you loved them and cared about them so much you go into depression you feel like your not needed anymore like your not loved.etc

  9. Sometimes when a spouse dies and the couple has been together for awhile, the surviving spouse may die shortly after. It has to do with a combination of stress and deteriorating health. This doesn't always happen. Some couples have died weeks after each other, and others have lived for 20 years after their spouse. It has nothing to do with how much they loved each other. It is just something that sometimes happens.
