  1. Well, just like n***s they leave to avoid war crime prosecution.

  2. There are plenty of ex-feminist. Most of them are older women who were followers in the original movements.

My grandmother is an ex-feminist. She is very critical of modern day feminism and it's followers.

She cites it as a lazy, pseudo-intellectual activist group who believes they are morally superior.

Many older generations of feminist (60 + ) are critical of modern day feminist because it's sadly strayed from the cause. It has now become a reverse discrimination group.

"The ONLY reason a women claims that she is an ex-feminist, is because she will be penalized by her husband, friends, or the male controlled country we live.

    All women are feminists!"

Kate M if by feminist you mean I support the earliest movements which achieved the most rights for me then yes I am a feminist by that definition. If you mean a feminist by modern day standards than you are grossly mistaken.

It's actually considered much more vile to be labeled a non-feminist in this day and age than it is to be called a feminist. For some reason people believe that because you are a non-feminist you do not wish to see women with equal legal rights.

  3. Yup there is. Many. And growing from what I understand.

  4. I always thought an 'ex-feminist' was a college graduate.  It's adult time now.

  5. There are many.

Most of them still identify as feminists, but they're not considered feminist by the leaders of feminism and Women's Studies curriculum. Most of them criticize the current state of feminism for being intellectually lazy, dishonest, and anti-male.

  6. "Leave the movement"? It's not like there's a Feminist ID Card and Decoder Ring.

I suppose there may be people who used to understand that all humans are human, including women, who have since decided women do not deserve basic human rights.

Why did they so change their minds? I can't imagine.

  7. Certainly!  Not all women will allow their social perspectives and political thinking to be forever clouded and stupefied by the fog of feminism, most of them do make it through and see the light, if even at the very last minute.  I am an optimist.

  8. Because they found out that the content isnt what the label promised I assume. Also I can imagine male feminists realized pretty quickly it wasnt about equaleetee.

  9. Well they're confused in that case.  How do you fight for equality at home and in the workplace and then say "Well I'm quitting" the next day?

  10. maybe they got smart and realized that the difficulties that they have encountered in life are not the result of gender discrimination.

maybe there are bad apples in the barrel of feminism, and they don't want to be associated with them.

maybe they realized that they have been the ones who discriminated against women.

maybe they finally realized that they are no longer shackled, and flew away.  took my parrot nearly a month to figure that out.

are you really asking a question, or are you trying to get affirmations for your believes?

  11. They have probably discovered that women have equal rights. It would be like starting a white power group. Shave your armpits and get over yourself, we know women can get together and see who can roar the loudest. How about focusing on saving abused and starved children? Or how about you just bake me a pie.

  12. The ONLY reason a women claims that she is an ex-feminist, is because she will be penalized by her husband, friends, or the male controlled country we live.

    All women are feminists!

  13. I doubt that there is such thing as ex-feminists because feminism is NOT a movement - it is a way of thinking and normal regular women of all types are feminists even if they don't call themselves such. It just means that a girl or women expects to have the same educational, occupational and other opportunities that males have. And she expects to be able to walk down the street, work, or do anything without having vulgar animals make sexual remarks or make sexual advances to her.
