I've heard they can be a real problem if they get in the house.

  1. If they are pinching the seed on the bird table, mix it with chilli powder. The squirrels won't like this and may move off to find a more palatable food source. Birds' digestive systems work differently to us mammals' and they can't taste the chilli.

  2. try moth balls or the crystals, they will help some. ammonia will always ward off these rascals too, spray it on the ground around your garden

  3. try mixing some peanut butter with Warfarin (ratpoison) along with some whole peanuts. They will go into the house if they can and they are very difficult to remove.

  4. take away their food source, ie: nuts or seeds for the birds. make sure you haven't got any food rotting anywhere. otherwise get in touch with pest control, usually the council and ask for advice.

  5. Leave them alone!

They won't go in your house.

  6. Google mothballs. Not sure if they'd hurt your garden or not, but no animal likes mothballs.

  7. I had the same problem with squirrels only they kept eating my wood framed windows to make nests. the R.S.P.C.A told me to get some used tea bags and put a few drops of OLBAS OIL on them.(it for colds and costs about £2.you can get from chemists or supermarkets) They don't like the smell of eucalyptus. you tie the teabags around trees or bird tables etc. hope this helps x

  8. I favour a shotgun, but I doubt my neighbours would like it.

  9. No poison
