  1. There are coaches you can hire per hour.  Check out craiglist.org for someone in your area.  I actually coach and have been hired by people to coach them on an hourly basis through craigslist.org.  If you have some questions I can answer via email, I'm happy to help if I can.

  2. I wouldnt really call them tutors....how bout coaches....you should just talk to your coach and have him/her help you out one day when you dont have a scheduled practice....they can get you caught up and hope you understand everything

  3. To be honest - play more and do some reading.   You can go to your local library and find lots of books on volleyball fundamentals.   Or, you can try www.volleyball.org as a starting point.

I have done some VB personal training on a semi-pro level, but you don't need a tutor as much as you just need to get out and play.

You might also try TIVOing volleyball matches and watch them playing.   Watching is almost as good as playing for learning VB....  Ask your coach for ideas!!!!

  4. If you get lost when you get instruction from your coaches, your best bet is to work closely with your teammates.  If they can't explain so you can understand after you've played 2 - 3 years...............well, enough said
