  1. Most Asian noodles are made from rice.

  3. you can make your own with rice flour....4 eggs, 1 pound of rice flour and a few tabelspoons of water.  Make it like regular pasta

  4. yes, you can buy wheatfree or glutenfree pasta.

    check this site out

Maize Starch, Pretreated Maize Flour, Rice Starch, Pregelatinised Rice, Green Pea Concentrate, Lupine Flour, Emulsifier (e471).

  6. Yes

  7. Rice-noodles

  8. Most supermarkets sell a gluten free range.

  9. of course!!! kamut is the best one, then i would recommend corn,spelt,quinoa...you can find them at the whole food shop

  10. Semolina and kamut are both wheat. Don't eat them.

  11. Health food stores will have a variety of pastas made from alternate grains.

Most supermarkets will have Asian rice noodles in the Asian aisle.  A good market will have various rice noodle sizes, but they will all be strands (not shapes).   They are tasty but delicate.  I wouldn't try to use them with a hearty Italian sauce.  They are better with light sauces and stirfry or in soups.  Try some Asian recipes with them!

  13. Why, wheat free- I am curious!

  14. yeah you can get semolina flour pasta and spelt pasta and the like at most healthfood stores/co-ops.

  15. Depending on where you live I guess - in the UK you can get Wheat free pasta from most of the major supermarkets - the Free From range from Tescos is very good and tasty.
