  1. I don't know of anything that short in field corn.  75 day corn is about as short as I know of.  They do plant corn that matures north of Edmonton, Alberta.  You might search for Canadian corn varieties and see what you find.

  2. There are so many factors to consider when determining the number of days to maturity.  Not the least is where you live.  A hybrid planted in northern Minnesota might mature in 65 days and the same hybrid may take 80 days in southern Indiana.  To get a realistic answer to your question I would suggest that you contact some corn hybrid companies in your area.  Also some companies in the extreme northern US or Canada.  This link to Pfister hybrid may get you an answer.  They breed corn for all areas of the US and Canada.

  4. The shortest Dekalb variety I can think of is DKC26-75 which would be 76 days.  That seed is primarily sold to Canada.

Sweet corn can get as low as 60 days.

  5. some sweet corn varieties are short season, but not seed or reg #2
