Question:

Is there such as thing as bad car karma?

I have been driving for 9 years in two reliable cars without a single incident.

I changed my car 2 years ago and bought a Toyota Corolla which was rear ended 4 times ... the last one by my 80 year old neighbour resulting in a write off.

I changed my car again, and within two weeks ... I get front ended by a driver taking a bend way too fast.

No accidents were my fault, all on local raods (2 in the cul-de-sac where I live) ...

Is this just bad car Karma? How do I get rid of it? Anyone had any worse and can share my pain! .... hey on the bright side, there wasn't a single injury in any of these incidents!

  1. <<there wasn't a single injury in any of these incidents!>>

Well, I'd say THAT was good Karma.

The number of times you were rearended seems a bit over the top. Karma is NOT your problem, bad driving habits are. You need to understand the CONCEPT of defensive driving. Defensive driving is "No Accidents".  And that ain't you.

I can see ONE rearend accident (maybe your 80 year old neighbor) but the rest need some other explanation.

Maybe you drive too aggressively, puttting other aggressive drivers (remember moms words two wrongs do not make a right) in your line of fire. Driving in todays traffic requires a different mindset then just a "It's not my fault". If YOUR involved in an accident.....it IS your fault.

Look into the concept of Defensive Driving and see if ANY of your previous accidents could have benifited from these tecniques. Be honest with yourself and you MIGHT find the basis for your unfortunate Karma.

  2. Sounds like pure bad luck

  3. Yes there is!!!

I messed up some girls car in 4 different places. The second i bought a new car i got crashed  a week later, and then someone bumped into a door 2 weeks after that, then a few days after a piece of wood landed on my car from a moving truck, then i reversed into a trash can and some how it broke my taillight.  so i would say it was bad car karma.

  4. How can this be about Karma? It's more about perhaps things don't go your way alone. Just remember that accidents can happen anyhow, it's only how it happens. So don't worry much. People are not forever accident-free by the way...

  5. In my point of view it's all in the head, so my answer to u is, NO!

  6. When I met my husband he had a Datsun Sunny, everytime we were going out it would break down making him late, or like once I borrowed it and the gear stick came off in my hand. I had the last laugh when a friend hoisted onto a lorry to be taken to the dump, or did I...... Maybe it trying to tell me something, we are now divorced.

  7. You should leave the Cul de sac immediately lol seriously though I believe in jinxed cars I bought one that broke down on the way back from buying it. Had to put a new engine in then we couldn't get it running properly for ages then it was hit by a neighbours then it was rear ended at a roundabout with me driving it! SOLD IT

  8. try doing something really nice that might help you It could be karma. one time I didn't feel like waiting for a train so I decided to turn around and my tire slid off an embankment and fliped my car over so your not that bad off

  9. No, but there is such a thing as "bad people karma". Maybe the problem is the driver and not the car? Pay attention when you're driving.

  10. I had a red Cavalier a few years ago, it was reversed into on 3 separate occasions, once front, once rear and once passenger side....i was just waiting for something to drop out of the sky onto the roof!!

My next car is a Cavalier and my psychic friend said it had too much male energy, the two previous owners were male and it took about a year until the car felt like it was mine!

She advised me to imagine the car surrounded by white light.....

  11. No.................

Its just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
