Is there such thing as a glass celling anymore?

it's a term I hear a lot now. I personally think that there is no such thing anymore and before you start through facts and figures at me like so many women or blacks or whatever are not in such in such positions. I would like to comment that there is nothing stopping someone and I do mean anyone from being a CEO of a company or president of the united states. so whats this whole glass celling. I mean what is keeping anyone of any race or s*x from getting anything. I guess I'm saying why are people still talking about something thats not there.

Where did you get your opinion from? Are you the CEO of a company so you know there's no barrier? Have you spoken to people (women, minorities) in the corporate world about their experiences? In short, how are you in a position to know what it's like trying to move up the ladder? You didn't cite any backup for your opinion. I'm a minority in the business world and my *experience* runs counter to your *opinion*.
