  1. Some things will help some people; one of the keys  to lessening the hangover is not drinking sweet drinks.  Drinks with sugar and wine which is sweet naturally both have worse hangovers then whiskey straight or with water or tequila with salt and lime/lemon.  Some of the cure work well for some people but not at all for others, just like aspirin is better then Tylenol for some people.

  2. In the 70s we had something called 'dr. seltzer's hangover helper'. It worked great!

Here is what I use now, which is close to the same thing.:

caffiene, vitamin c, aspirins, vitamin e

wash them all down with glass of orange or tomato juice

  3. with like the majority of people have said, take you a couple of pain pills if you have a bad headache and drink plenty of fluids. My trick is while you're drinking...like for ex: if you're drinking Jack D, after a shot, drink about a half a cup of water, that way your body won't get dehydrated as much as it originally would if you was drinking it straight up...so you won't feel as bad in the morning w/ the hangover. I've tried that a couple of times and it works the next morning...you still have a hangover but not half as bad as it could be.

  4. not really. the only things that help are time and water.

  5. take 2 plain alkaseltzer tablets in water. Works wonders.

  6. Hangovers are not cute so you need to know your limits and not cross them.

  7. Either do what I do, Stay Drunk, Or take a couple of ibprofens and drink a couple of beers, Or any cocktail It will help you come down slowly....

  8. Any home remedies would be more of preventative measures than anything. When you are hungover, it's because your body is dehydrated. I would recommend drinking water instead of alcohol the last couple of hours before you go to sleep to try and get "less drunk" before you actually go to bed. Due to this method, I've never had a hangover.

  9. home remedy for hangover=don't drink

  10. After im done drinking before i crawl my sorry *** into bed.. i take 2 advil and a HUGE glass of water.. ive never had a hang over.. oh wait.. thats a lie.. my batchlorette party.. !!!! forgot the advil.. :-)

  11. I don't think there any cure.  The best thing to do, or course, is avoid drinking so much that you get a hangover.  However, if it's to late for that then drink plenty of water, and take B vitamins.  Just my suggestion.

  12. drink gatorade while your on your way home or right before you go to bed. Then drink lots more when you get up and that helped me when I did that. The reason you feel that way is because your body is dehydrated.
