Is there such thing as a seal you can use on your teeth?

Does anyone know where to find a seal for your teeth, Or if there is such thing?Like a seal made for your teeth so if you eat something perhaps a candy or something it won't even effect them?

Hello, Yes there are tooth sealers and your dentist can provide the procedure for you, you won't find one over the counter...Know this however, tooth sealers are not forever, they do wear away, especially on the surface where the teeth make contact when your chewing...They do help in preventing a great deal of cavities for a great many people...Good luck and I wish you well.

The only seal for your teeth that I know about is something that only a dentist can put on. It is generally used for children when there adult teeth come in. My sons dentist asked if we want it done, but also know after several years it needs to be re-applied. Some insurance companies cover this process. Check with a dentist.

You can get sealants on your teeth to protect it. It'll help fill in the deep grooves of your molar. You can still get cavities, but it will help reduce the chances of getting cavities. You will still have to do your part by having a good oral hygiene.

A dentist can put a sealant on teeth.   They usually do it for kids when their permanent teeth come in.   It's supposed to prevent cavities.    I had my son's teeth sealed.
