  1. I'm an x-ray tech, but I need more info.  What are you x-raying.   Body parts, what kind of developing methods are you using.   Are you a patient or tech.  It all depends on what is going on .  Yes, you can have a shadow.

  3. No, for your question, think of if you used a camera with flash and took a picture in a pitch black room (no other light sources). Would there be any shadows? The answers no. X-ray images have nothing to do with light, the whatever that emits the x-rays is the only things emitting x-rays when the picture is taken. So no.
