Is there such thing as a waterproof cast for broken ankles?

I have a full arm cast right now and looking for the same thing.

I found this waterproof cast liner:

Does anyone have this right now or have it before?

My doctor is going to change my cast to a short cast this Thursday, I think I can get this cast liner but I wonder if I can really swim and shower with soap.

no but an air cast is a removable cast you can walk in

you can by a limbo to wear over your cast in a bath

ambulance men suggested to me a cast with hinges? but i had a purple plaster cast :D full cast over cut cast

yes but it may cost a bit more my friend got a waterproof cast for a broken ankle but you will need to ask for one and you are only able to get one if your doctor wants to put a fiberglass cast if it's a plaster cast than tough luck but there isn't any waterproofing for those.

No sorry, I don't think there is. I had a broken leg/ankle/foot and had to stay casted for six months. Instead of the typical hard cast, I opted for the "boot." It was a little better, I could take it off for a few minutes a day and kinda spongebathe my leg .

air cast you can take it off and clean it but as far as true water proof not that im aware

Dude, anyone that tells you to get a waterproof cast and says there is one-wrong!

I have had casts many many times before. "Waterproof" ones still can unravel when wet and still smell when get wet. So don't get one. They suck more than regular casts.

  Yes  ,what  you do  is  ask  your  Doctor  for  one  or  it  will  be  prescribed  to  you or  give  it  to  you  for  FREE,if  you  ask  nicely,.I  have  one  that  I  used  even  for  swimming..
