  1. I have a friend who is unfortunately an alcoholic. He once drank (probably many times actually) over 30 nips (a 750ml bottle) of Grouse and had about 20 pints of lager in one session and didn't die. He did go to A&E though because he was being sick and bringing up blood.

Whisky is very potent stuff so it isn't advisable to go overboard.

  2. you would die

  3. you would get a drink

  4. A whole scotch wow apparantly there was a bloke once had a half scotch.  I think he had to have a day off work.

He had been in a pub twice so watch out

  5. There are some "heroes" in the world. My sister is a nurse so she sees a lot of the people who can handle drinking a pint of scotch and more.

Quite often what happens is that the drinker will pass out, wake up in a hospital ward and after a few diazepam they tend to stop abusing the staff. Although sometimes they have to wear handcuffs.

    Occasionally they die.

  6. you would most probably keel over and die from alcohol poisoning

  7. Seeing as it is 40% proof - I would imagine you would become unconcious and do yourself a lot of harm!

  8. I had a friend who drank a pint of whiskey (same substance, more or less), he was a seasoned drinker, he was sick as a very sick dog. He did it to himself at a party. I do not see any reason why you would be served such in a bar. A measure of scotch is about one finger deep in a pint glass.

  9. My dad is an alcoholic and often drinks a bottle of scotch a day but even he would not be able to cope with downing a pint. You would probably end up in hospital or dead.

  10. That would be an easy night my man.

Don't try it without first getting a measure of its impact in smaller doses. Sip. Don't do shots. Don't get involved with drinking games. Don't drive impared; call a cab.

    I drink like a fish.

  11. Scotch is pretty strong, drinking a whole pint of it in one go isn't a good plan. I drunk a litre bottle of jamesons once (over the course of about 5 hours). When I was cycling home the pavement kept jumping up at me and hitting me in the side of the head. It hurt. If you are going to drink it, mix it with something especially if you're a first time drink, try cocke as the caffeine will balance out the alchohol. Don't drink doubles, drink singles in a longer glass with more coke in it.

  12. yes

  13. take your time with the pint, make sure you have eaten and are rested for a mission like that. I have in my student days drank pints of various mixed spirits with no mixers (bucket of **** we used to call it)

a highh tolerance level for alcohol is neccessary or you will be screwed, pass out, go to hospital, poisoned and worst of all, probably leave half of the pint behind!!!!!

  14. I have downed a half-pint of vodka.

I was very drunk at the time and I was very ill afterwards
