is there such thing when a tutor or a home teacher can come to your home and teach you. like homeschooling.

When a teacher comes to your home, that is either tutoring or homebound.

Homeschooling is where your parents are responsible for your education.  You can still do much of the work yourself when using a textbook or online program, but no outside teacher is involved.

People are allowed to hire tutors for homeschooling for the most part, though in some states  the tutor has to have the right credentials, however for most people that would be prohibitively expensive.

Few homeschoolers (other than the rich and famous crowd) have full-time tutors. Besides, most of us prefer homeschooling to be a family adventure; if I wanted my kid to be formally 'schooled' I'd send them to school.

There is homebound education through the public school where teachers will come to your home and teach you, however this is for students who cannot make it to school (I had a friend who did this for about 8 months while recovering from a serious back surgery). You have to prove your need for this, however, it isn't easy to get.
