Likley to be a scam-Building Society Bank.  They are two different things so unlikly to be in the name of a genuine financial institution

It seems thatthe latest trend is to try and fool people by using a familiar name and varying it slightly e.g Lloyds Guarantee Section Bank - nothing to do with Lloyds TSB or Lloyds of London Insurance. Financial service companies such as Banks or Building Societies have to registered with the FSA (Financial Services Authority) If anyone wants to check if a financial company is legitimate look at the FSA website - check it out before parting with your hard earned cash!
