Is there such thing as short modelling?

Im realy short (5ft 2 an a half - 4 last time i checked)

is there any modelling agencies that take on petite girls ?

you've got great lips and eyes.

no runway modeling for you though.

you could model for a petites store or something,

I wouldnt count on it though, models are almost always at least 5'8

there is only commercial modeling...not runway for the shorter people.

look into getting into agencies.

yea some do for catalog modeling but chnge ur eye makeup

Editorial modelling

This is modelling for magazines (features and covers), very often fashion or lifestyle.

You can get excellent exposure from it, therefore it is desperately sought after by models, and your best friend becomes your favourite enemy in the fight for an assignment.

Hard work, difficult to get into (you need to be signed up with a good agency) and poorly paid.

Catalogue modelling

Models appear in catalogues of major chains and mail order shops, and on their online shops on the Internet. Average looks are sought, requirements are somewhat more relaxed and a little closer to the real world - but this still means having a dream body.

OR

Commercial modelling and modelling for advertising

The term commercial refers to the type of assignment and covers the promotion of various products (from fashion to moisturiser to cleaning products, and everything in between) in magazines, newspapers, on billboards, in TV spots, etc. Requirements vary.

Though, to get any of these... you need to be signed up to a good agency. Send ur photos off online.... & Remember dont pay anything!

People will tell you that there is such a thing as petite fashion modelling, but there aren't 5 women in the entire world who make a living at it.  The only real option is glamour modelling - bikini's, lingerie, nude,  that sort of thing.  You are very cute, have a great body and could be very succesful at that - start your own website.  They make alot more money, work less, and have more control over their careers than most fashion models.

there are short models, i'm 5'6" signed with Wilhelmina and i've seen girls shorter than me doing work.

You couldn't get into runway modeling (supposed to be 5 ft 8 for that), but if you've got the looks, go for commercial modeling. They still get into magazines, beauty ads, etc.
