  1. You can take lessons at  a ICE if there is one by you. You can also go to camps at high school, county parks, of at local colleges.

  2. Well they dont nessecerily have "classes" but they offer many camps at colleges near you. They have many different kinds; setting, hitting, blocking, passing, serving...etc. They have day-camps and overnight camps, all skills camps and advanced camps. you just have to call around at colleges to ask.

Also at your local rec. center or YMCA they have leagues I believe. Depending on either your age or skill level. Hope this helps. Go to your rec. centers website and look it up.

  3. umm r u talking about leagues? if yes then of course when i got into larosse i found it hard to practice becuase there weren't many places with teams and such just look around and ask experianced players what they do?, it worked for me good luck:)

  4. Yeah they do.  I went to a volleyball team thing over the summer, it was pretty fun and i learned a lot :)

  5. They're not exactly called volleyball classes. You can go into clubs, training sessions,  and join teams. I don't know your age, but if you're a teen you can join marco, premier, and a few others (i don't know they are where you live though)

  6. Depends on where you live. I live in CA, we have classes at community centers and rec leagues run by the city. Hope this answers your question.

  7. Depending on how old you are, you can go to a local college for different level of classes, or sign up at Youth Volleyball League (http://www.usyvl.org).

  8. As stated above, the YMCA is a good place to start.  Many Y's have volleyball programs at a reasonable price.

You can also try usavolleyball.org, then the WannaPlay link, then the USA Volleyball regions, then the RVA link and then click on the map where you live.  Your USAV region should be able to either provide what you are looking for or they should know where you can play.  If you live in Houston, feel free to email me.

  9. A lot of people who like to play volleyball go to beaches and stuff. They'll usually have stuff like that to do everyday. Or you can have Volleyball after school classes at your school. I used to be on a volleyball team. I wasn't too good at it. I'll never do volleyball again!

  10. well, there is volleyball camp.

they tend to be pretty expenisve though. : /
