  1. Actually, Intel has given the Centrino name to its Mobile Processors Family. The Duo signifies that the processor has two parallel processors running at a time at the speed specified each.

    The processor is not Centrino Duo T2080, it is Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo T2000. The Core 2 Duo is the actual processor and the Centrino is there as it is supported by Mobile Technology.

    The processors can be either single core(solo) or dual core(duo).
