Is there supposed to be a washer on the Truvativ ISOflow to keep the crank arm from loosening?

  1. I think your other questions already are solving your dilemma but I just saw this one.  The answer here is....maybe.  Truvativ sometimes uses a small washer behind the crankarm that rests against the shoulder on the bottom bracket spindle.  Sometimes they don't.  Only my Stylos have had it.....the Hussefelts I ride now and the Firex I had for a while didn't have the washer.  I'm not sure about the Isoflow but you could always visit the Truvativ website and look at the .pdf files in their tech/service section to see if it shows them on the parts diagram.  If the crank was designed to use this washer, it's important that you use it.  Otherwise, it's not necessary.
