Is there surfing anywhere near Buenos Aires, Argentina?

I know Mar del Plata has great surf, but that is over 200 miles away and a little farther than I can travel.

Unfortunately, because Buenos Aires is so far West and on the south shore of the Rio De La Plata, you're not really going to get ANY surf in Buenos Aires.  

Check out the second link.  It shows a satellite photo of the area.  You can see the city in the bottom right of the photo.  You're really going to have to drive pretty far to get to any surf.  

Las Toninas looks like the closest break to you.  Check out the first link to see a list of surf breaks in your general area.
