Question:

Is there truly a solution to life?

All quotes have been quoted but why, until now, after Julius Cesar, Aristotle, Gandhi, Mother Theresa and Jesus Christ, mankind hadn't seem to learn about living life? I don't think the world had really so much changed from day one. Is this a curse or just human-nature? Are we too weak to learn the secret in life and live to it? Is there really answers to life or is it better that they be left unanswered?

  1. there are answers to life... you just have to discover them. its not the matter of weakness, its the ability to want to learn to live life. some people take that for granted. were all human. we all make mistakes.

  2. i didn't know life was a problem. i think it's the stupid selfish and hateful things we do to one another as people is the problem. if only there was a solution to that right? No matter how hard I try I always do the wrong thing.

  3. These are questions that have crossed my mind many of times. And these questions are starting to become more common and frequent in our times as well.  It seems as though life is pushing us to a point where we will have to discover the solution to living, in order to prevent us from destroying ourselves. And our generation has become the first to be aware of the fact, that we could be the last. We now have the power to wipe each other out, if we are not able to live in peace and harmony.

However mankind up until our times, has not really been concerned about knowing the solution or purpose to life, more so then finding better ways at enjoying it. Our advancements in technology does no more than testify to this fact. In America we have so many avenues available to us for finding success and happiness. But instead we are finding more and more people fall into despair, depression, and drugs.

So we have put aside the search for meaning, to search for bigger and better "things" to enjoy. And "purpose" simply just wasn't a priority for us to until recently, where we are now starting to see that these "things" aren't enough to make us happy.

It's kinda like being terminally ill and going to see a doctor who says "I believe this medicine may help you get better." You'd probably seek out another opinion, until you found someone that said - I know this will help you get better. Thus our previous generations have been content with a belief about their purpose and meaning in life,  while we are now starting to feel a need to know, especially after seeing our ways of living have gotten worse. So where's the cure, where's the solution?

I'd rather you see for yourself and draw your own conclusions, then for you to believe me. So I've attached a link below to a short (10min) video that may help shed some light on that answer.

    I hope it helps.

    Cheers!!!

  4. just live life as it comes.....if we there was a purpose that god created us for then we would probably know it.

  5. Self Realization is the only solution. All questions get answered when this happens.

  6. Stay alive is the solution to life

  7. a solution to life? there's no solution, other than death (that I know of). The best thing I can think of is, learn what you can...be happy, make others happy, and pass it on to the next generation. Progress has been made already (in my opinion) ,but the world will still have its problems.

  8. yes there are..but since they are too hard to find out just live with out caring about what no one else says and for safety to know for sure that your going to heaven put your trust in Jesus Christ

  9. The best we know of is to develop a mastery of wisdom.  To philosophize.

  10. I think those quotes are the very problem: Everyone is now trying to live the same sort of life because of them.

Life is beautiful when you life it the way you think it should be led, but we grow up in an overly structured society where being yourself is generally not promoted.

  11. The question somehow presumes that there is some sort of a question inherent about LIFE itself, or that the life is a problem .   Well there isnt. I dont see any animals worrying about the WHY in life.

Is it because we are sentient beings? And we have language? And the way our brains crossed that mental rubicon from automaton to conscious beings- seeing everything as cause and effect-  thinking that there has to be a prime mover who set everything in motion.

What was there before TIME, or the UNIVERSE  question, is equal to What was there before God.

There are no questions inherent about life. Life just IS.

  12. That's what's to great about life, everyone lives it differently, in the way that makes them the happiest. there is no answer because we all have different things that make us happy and sad. Life's what you make it, so lets make it rock! (thanks Hannah Montana for that quote) cause it's true.

  13. Life is not about us, we are like bugs and are meaningless, so we live our little life and die, that is all we can do, and nothing we do matters.

  14. The solution to life is Christ since he gave his own life so that we can live. Jesus says i quoate i am the way the truth and the life. But most people want to ignore the truth. People want to take the truth and twist it to fit there own needs. Why cant you have faith in the truth. Its right in front of you.

  15. Yeah, his name is Jesus.

  16. There is only one solution.  Death.

Though that seems to be on the surface just a not-so-funny quip, consider.

The only solutions to the world's problems is for everyone to embrace death.  To embrace that one day, they will die, and with that knowledge through careful consideration, all of the things that cause these problems, love of power, love of money, hatred of others, disolve, and their worthlessness is revealed.

Then, those things of worth such as truth, logic, justice, love of knowledge, love of people begin to take center stage, and hopefully, can help center our world.

  17. Why does everyone want a solution to life? I was unaware that life was a problem.

The meaning of life is survival. Look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

  18. there is no secret to life and there is only on riquirement for life..... death

  19. tv

  20. omg.. go on vacation buddy. living life is about mcdonald's tv and internet shopping. THATS ABOUT IT NOW GET A LIFE AND BECOME A MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER. FORGET THE ANSWERS OF LIFE. YOU ARE ALREADY LIVING IT BUDDY!!!! LOL!

  21. This is a difficult, incredible, philosophical question which can provoke endless discussion.  It is good to ask, but more important, is it to find the meaning and solution  to life for ourselves.  Ask God to give you this kind of wisdom and then pass it on to others.

  22. 42

  23. Life is just an illusion, trying to change you.

  24. Our lives begin to end ,the day we become silent about things that matter.

  25. Life is the answer... the question is why

  26. In my opinion, we are here to learn. As it is impossible to learn all we have to learn (or so I believe) in one lifetime, this is just one of many lifetimes. We're here to learn, and the earth is just one of many ordeals we will have to face. It's really not about mankind, in my opinion, it's about each of us individually. How we learn from our mistakes, learn to love, learn to live with others, learn to accept, it's all about learning.

We as a whole, 'mankind' I do not believe have anything to accomplish, as there are too many unique people to all believe one thing, and therefore, to all learn the same lesson. We're all here for a different reason, and our goal in life is to learn what that reason is, to find a reason for our lifetime before moving onto the next.

I also believe in a period between lifetimes, which I suppose people could call heaven. I do not believe heaven is forever, it is just sort of the waiting room as we catch up on old times with friends and choose our next life.

What I say is live each day to the fullest, do your best, and enjoy life.

We're not weak at all as a whole, we're weak or strong individually, but we'll always keep learning. :) Don't worry too much about it.

    Additional:

Death is but a transferring of our souls into another realm. Whether it be heaven, this world in another body, purgatory or somewhere else entirely. Accepting death is simply accepting that we will eventually move on from this plain of existence.

In my opinion, death is only the continuation of a path each of us treads our own way. We live life blind to the state beyond death, but the fact that there is no logical evidence, as people want so badly, besides out-of-body-experiences and that white light, forces us to create our own belief of what will happen. I do not believe it is possible for beings capable of logical thought and emotion to simply vanish. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be moved and manipulated.

I learned that from my meditation teacher.

Therefore, as our souls can only be thought of as energy, the only thing that can happen is remaining on this world as a ghost or moving on to the mystery that is the afterlife.

And when we move on, we carry our knowledge from this lifetime to whatever next trial awaits us.

As this is comforting in itself, it is also logical in my opinion. Can one think of simply "vanishing?" Who we are never dies, and if you need scientific evidence, I have heard the body gets lighter when it dies, and many believe this to be the passing of a soul.

People take death far too seriously. That the only thing certain in life is death may be true, but it would be meaningless to be put here only to live and die, and have that be the end of it.

If you ask me, there's only one reason for life- to learn and grow, and to help others grow.

The fact that death is the ending to so many people...

If we fear it, it snipes us from above, but if we accept it as inevitable and stop searching for eternal life, and willingly go into its arms, it will take us as a leader to whatever awaits us.

Therefore, the view on death as terrifying is only us fearing the unknown, making us cling to life, but what we need to learn to do is enjoy life and accept death when it comes, knowing that it is all in divine order.

Whether that order is a god or a heavenly presence, I can not say. I believe in god, but I am open to many possibilities.

The only possibility I am not open to is that death is the end.

Such a meaningless fleeting moment in the sun would not make sense.

So learn, help, love, and enjoy.

Death is but the next step towards something much greater.

    In my opinion, anyway.

"Nothing we do matters" Has to be the most ridiculous and pessimistic statement I have ever heard.
