Is there usually earthquakes in China? And what can I do to help?

It stuns me how many peolpe died in last weeks earthquake, and i just want to know if theres usually earthquakes in China like no big ones but just in general, they don't have to be bad but are they just in that area where they have them?

I feel like i shouldn't be a bystander and help out with something like this i mean what if we were in this situation, we would want someone to help us

Well, I feel bad too. The point where the earthquake was was on a fault, and there were warnings that this was probably the most dangerous province in China, and it was prone to severe earthquakes. Anyways, I think that if you search the web, you look up programs to send food (canned) or, if you are old enough, maybe donate time. Hope this helps!

You should start a fund raiser at your school and or on the internet or something. Earthquakes occur quite frequently in China just not all of them were as major as the last one. Research it a bit too. There is probably some other organizations already set up that you could contact for help. YAY dont give up. Help them out it would be awesome!
