LAUNCHCast Plus does not work when launched from within Yahoo Music Jukebox [Error COde 8-] While my default browser is the BT Yahoo! Browser within which LAUNCHCast Radio works perfectly, Yahoo Music Jukebox always launches Internet Explorer (version 7)in which LAUNCHCast Radio does not work: no amount of tweaking internet settings resolves this.

My question then is this: is there some way to edit the registry to force hyperlink calls from Yahoo Music Jukebox to launch the BT Yahoo! Browser? BTW, BT Broadband technical support have bounced this query to the Yahoo! help central wherer there is no obvious way to contact a human being to answer this query.

  1. Aren't you making the assumption that the original problem (error code 8) can not be fixed?  What happens when you make Internet Explorer your default browser (which is what most people use).  If you think Yahoo is going to do anything because BT thinks they have a problem, forget it.  See what Yahoo technical support has to say about your error code 8.

  2. Don`t know.But at least i had a go at your question!
