Is there way to play windows 95 games on XP???

well i want to play red alert counterstrike but it does not work as it is a windows 95 game what if anything can i do?

  1. Here are the steps you need to do:

    1.  You create a shortcut of the .EXE file:

    ...   a.  Open Windows Explorer and locate the .EXE file.

    ...   b.  Use the right mouse button to "drag" the file off to the side in a clear area.

    ...   c.  Release the mouse button.

    ...   d.  Select "Create shortcut here".

    2.  Right click on the shortcut.

    3.  Select Properties

    4.  Select the "Compatibility" tag.

    5.  Click the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

    6.  Select "Windows 95" from the drop-down menu.

    7.  Select any other options that you feel are important for your particular program.

  2. you can force it to play the game but dont do it.

    my friend forced his to and it corrupted one of his bios and corrupted his whole computer. It is not a good idea to he had to fix it for $2000.00 A LOT OF MONEY!
