  1. I think so, yes. But not that very much. Like, I have never had any trainer, but I love to sing and I've been singing since I was 10 just for myself. Like, now, there are times when I cant sing few songs, trying to do that and repeating them and learning new notes kinda, leads me to the right way of singing the song. And yeah, i think it does make your voice better. You learn how to take special notes. But of course its not as if you would take a trainer. :)

  2. Methods to keep your voice in shape :

        * Your vocal chords vibrate fast. Keeping them well lubricated is important for your voice. This can be done by drinking enough water and avoiding caffeine. Fruits such as watermelon, peaches, apples, pears, grapes and plums also help in keeping the vocal chords hydrated.

        * Take a break between bursts of speech if you're engaged in talking a lot.

        * Avoid smoking. Smoking raising the risk of throat cancer tremendously and inhalation of smoke can irritate the vocal chords.

        * Speak softly and avoid yelling or screaming even if it is a noisy public place.

        * Don't clear your throat too often. You have two vocal chords, which slam against each other when you clear your throat. This can make your voice hoarse. Instead, try sipping a glass of water to clear your throat. In case if this persists, check out with your doctor.

  3. You have to sing every day to keep your throat muscles fit, even if it is only scales practice. Think of your voice in the same way as an athlete thinks of his fitness. Warm up, warm down and exercise it regularly.

  4. Have seen Celine Dion doing vocal exercises to strengthen her voice. I am not sure how you learn that but a voice coach could probably help you with it.

  5. *****A voice coach could help.  They can listen to your voice and see what you need to do.

  6. Hmmm.

What I do is lay on my back when I sing to strength my pitch and accuracy!

    =)

But I haven't met anyone else who uses that technique..
