  1. More than you know! Depending on where you live you can have Bears, Deer, Raccoons and Rabbits all around you and you won't even know it.

I live in the mountains of Western NC and see plenty of wildlife but nothing you will see within city limits. There is an abundance of food in urban areas just sitting in your trash can. We take our own garbage to the dump/recycling areas so we don't see what creeps around your houe at night.

I do see many birds of prey and hear owls at night but Bear and Deer sightings are rare. They've figured it out.

I see plenty of Wild Turkey but usually not in season.

That's just the way it is!

  2. Whether you live in a city or a rural part of the country, wild animals are your neighbours. Most wild animals will not bother you. They naturally fear humans and keep their distance, as long as they remain fully wild, plus wild animal populations (such as pigeons) are often controlled in cities.

A common animal to be found is the raccoon. It prefers to live in woodland near to water. But it's often found in towns and cities, going through rubbish bins to look for food.

  3. OMG.. open your eyes!  It is everywhere!  Hawks, skunks, opossum, snakes, etc.  I don't know what city you live in, but there is plenty.

  4. I live in the rural suburbs on Pennsylvania. I am here to tell you that we have fox, coyote, wolves, porcupines, bears, raccoons etc!

  5. There are no wolves in the suburbs of Pennsylvania.I had to laugh at that one.But lots of other wildlife though.I routinely see deer and fox and coyotes. And don't forget that birds qualify as wildlife.

  6. I grew up in NYC. Even in the most urbanized sections, there is a great deal of wildlife. Central Park, in the heart of Manhattan, is a birding hot-spot. Staten Island is practically Rural. There is a book by John Kieren on the wildlife to be found in NYC.

Philadelphia has the largest urban park in North America, second only to the Bois de Boulogne in Paris.

  7. Feral children aside, yes there is.  Bees, wasps, hornets, flies, ants, worms, ladybirds, buzzards, foxes.... the list is pretty long actually.

  8. Yes,we didn't kill everything yet...yet.

  9. yes some

  10. Yes

  11. Yes, there is loads of wildlife in the city limits babe! i can show you darling.

  12. yes , most of them should be in prison

  13. never been to Brooklyn huh?...ok, yep, there's wildlife in the  city limits!?!?  Don't know what city you speak of but in most cities(watch the news)you'll notice for various reasons, wildlife has invaded the 'burbs' and inner cities in recent years. Food sources etc,..Not a good thing in many cases due to the preditor types going for the domesticated animals, etc.and in a few cases(humans)...but it's happening more in more depending on what part of the country you're looking at.

  14. Yes there is wild life is the cites ---  All one has to do look at the trash they are letting out of jail , and are roaming the streets.   Not to say that all forks who are coming out are trash --  But ones I am seeing surely look like wildlife.
